The Atomic Vantage 95 C is a versatile all mountain ski. Atomic's entire Vantage collection is made up of all mountain skis designed to do a little bit of everything and the Vantage 95 C is certainly no exception. Unlike some of the skis within the Vantage collection, however, it does not use any metal. It does still use their Carbon Tank Mesh material, which is essentially a woven grid of carbon fiber providing responsiveness and energy. Removing the metal, however, reduces the weight of the ski and also makes it a little bit softer flexing. These characteristics are great for less aggressive skiers who still want a high performance ski. Not everyone is heavy enough or aggressive enough to really having metal in their skis. All too often it acts as more of a deterrent to progression than promoting it in developing skiers. The Vantage 95 C provides excellent responsiveness for skiing on groomers and solid edge hold without the extra weight and fatigue that comes along with metal. Its 95 mm waist width and the ski's tip and tail rocker profile also give it excellent maneuverability and some float in soft snow, which combined with the light weight makes them a blast to take off-piste.
